“Hi, my name is Kirstin and I own the Randburg Franchise of Kidi-sportz. I became involved in kidi-sportz through a friend who knew that I was looking for a project that involved working with children. I had always wanted to teach but did not see how until this wonderful opportunity came along. I bought the Randburg Franchise in June 2009 and took over the teaching of 58 children. The Randburg franchise has gone from strength to strength and today consists of 98 children. Over and above this, my colleague Maureen and I teach 2 underprivileged schools that have 96 and 90 children respectively. Maureen has been working for kidi-sportz for 5 years and with me since I took over the Randburg franchise. Maureen is the most dedicated lady I have ever worked with, she has never missed a day!

Kidi-sportz can be challenging but oh so rewarding! I pride myself on being a reliable teacher and putting 110% into every class I teach. I love being referred to as the “Skidi-sportz teacher” and hearing the enthusiasm of the children when I arrive to teach a class. The ultimate reward is when you see progress in a child and then I can say to myself “I do make a difference in these children lives.” Kidi-sportz is an awesome programme to teach and extremely beneficial for the children. I am very proud to be a part of the Kidi-sportz family!
