ABOUT KIDI-SPORTZ KEMPTON PARK

My name is Nicole Welman, I’m a mother of 2 beautiful children. My son, Connor is 9 and my daughter Amber is 5.

My daughter was about 3 months old when I first found out about Kidi-Sportz. It was still very new and not many people had heard of it.

I got a flyer at one of the Baby Expo’s and made arrangements to go and look at the classes to see what it was all about.

My son was at nursery school at the time and had participated in a variety of extra-murals. He came with me to the Kidi-Sportz lesson and was invited to join in. I was astounded that there were certain movements and exercises that he could not do.

I had assumed these had been covered in the activities he was doing at school. I decided then that I wanted to join the Kidi-Sportz group – firstly so that I could ensure my son’s gross motor skills were correctly and well developed and also so that I could

Provide this service to other children in schools and allow them to receive the same benefits. The other deciding factor was my children. With the new baby and my son going to primary school in a year or so, I still wanted to work, but I also wanted the freedom and flexibility to spend time with my children.

Kidi-Sportz has allowed me to do this and the children at the schools make what I do very rewarding. It always makes my heart swell with pride when a child masters a skill that they were struggling with. I have been running my own franchise since the beginning of 2007 and it has gone from strength to strength with each passing year.
