Background/History of the Business
Kidi-sportz is a franchise that has had years of background in developmental problems and as a result have developed this programme. It is a fun filled exercise programme that introduces young children ages 2 – 7 yrs to the wonderful world of movement. The workshops are specially designed to stimulate a love for movement, increase self confidence and enhance co-ordination and muscle tone.

Kidi-sportz is one of a few extra-murals accredited by “let’s play” and the Sports Science Institute.

Due to the expertise of the designer of the programme, all franchisees are thoroughly trained, including training on how to assess children with low muscle tone, and specific exercises on how to address this.

To date there are 17 franchises situated in Bryanston, Lonehill, Randburg, Sandton, Krugersdorp, Southrand, Springs, Boksburg, Kempton Park, Midrand, Pretoria East, Durbanville (Cape Town) Harare (Zimbabwe) P.E, Houghton, Centurian, and Roodepoort.

The franchisees run workshops from their home, local sporting complexes and as an extra mural at schools. The kidi-sportz franchisees would like to see that all children have the opportunity to take part in sporting activities, developing their ability, muscle tone, co-ordination and overall fitness.
